THE EDISON BALLROOM TO HOST ITS ANNUAL SEPTEMBER SWING EVENT

The Edison Ballroom is proud to announce that once again it will host its special, SEPTEMBER SWING event, featuring the legendary big band leader, Joe Battaglia and the New York Big Band. Mark your calendar for Friday, September 22nd, 2023 for this special, not-to-be-missed event. Our collaboration with Joe Battaglia and the New York Big Band goes back 15 years. Joe’s brilliant big band sound is considered among the best ever. He has performed for such dignitaries as Hilary Clinton and Barbara Walters. Prior to Edison Ballroom, Joe and his orchestra performed regularly at The Rainbow Room, Tavern on the Green and Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing. Joe’s New York Big Band is composed of a 16- piece orchestra as well as an accompanying vocalist. Also featured at this event will be the romantic Latin sounds of Direct Latin Influence, also known as DLI.
Tickets for dinner and dancing remain a bargain at only $200 per person, which include VIP seating, a sumptuous four course meal, all drinks, taxes and gratuities. Festivities start at 7:30PM. Mezzanine seating tickets are also available at a price of $150.00 per person, which include all the above. This event ends at 12:30AM, with continuous dancing throughout.
Renowned Chef Mina Newman will once again provide an incredible meal for this festive event. The meal will include choices of salad, appetizer, main course, and dessert. In the past, appetizer options have included Pan Roasted Sea Scallops, Yellowfin Tuna Tartar, and Butternut Squash Ravioli with Roasted Hazelnuts. Entrées have included choices such as Filet Mignon, served with Scalloped Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus, Roasted Chicken Breast with Potato Hash, and Pan Seared Salmon with Wild Rice Pilaf. Desserts are sure to be special.
It is nearly impossible these days to find such a bargain in a setting unmatched in its sophistication and elegance. Tickets are limited so be sure to reserve early for this celebration.
